HANDMADE FORGED DAMASCUS STEEL FOLDING HUNTING KNIFE - The blade is hand forged through a process of layering, welding and hammering. This results in each blade having a unique design or as some would say a âfingerprintâ. Each & every knife is truly one of a kind.
Damascus steel has outstanding properties such as strength and hardness. We amplify its properties by oil quenching it at 2100 deg F to cool it down fast and we do it twice to make sure itâs hard to its inner core to withstand any kind of work you may put it to use. It achieves a 58 or higher HRC on the Rockwell Scale.
We layer & hand forge low and high carbon steels such as 15n20 & 1095. It is then dipped in Ferric Chloride creating a distinct reaction with the metals producing a Damascus like pattern. This is genuine folded steel, not laser printed.

How do i protect my Damascus steel blades from going bad?
â˘Coat the blade in a light oil (such as WD-40 or olive oil). Oiling a Damascus steel blade can give it a rich luster that will do justice to its natural, gorgeous pattern.
â˘Do not store in leather sheath long term (longer than a month), it can result in blade staining due to absorbent nature of leather.
â˘If storing in leather, it is recommended you prep the blade, wrap it in plastic wrap then insert the knife in the sheath.
â˘Please avoid using dishwasher for any of the Damascus blades.
Is it real Damascus Steel?
Yes, all my damascus blades are made by layering 15n20 n 1095 carbon steel hand made in a forge.
