Material: Hand forged high carbon Damascus steel blade made from 1095 & 15N20 steel.

• Overall length is 10.0" inch.
• Blade length is 5.0" inch.
• Blade thickness is 3.0 mm or approximately 1/8th of an inch.

Damascus Blade Detail:

The blade is carefully made by combining 1095 & 15N20 steel through layering, welding, and hammering. This traditional process creates the distinctive flowing Damascus pattern, giving each blade its own unique design, much like a fingerprint. Each Bolt knife is a unique work of functional art.

Damascus steel has outstanding properties such as strength and hardness. We amplify these properties by oil quenching the steel at approximately 2100°F to cool it rapidly. The process is performed twice to ensure hardness reaches deep into the blade, helping it withstand demanding use. The finished blade achieves approximately 58-60 HRC on the Rockwell Scale.

Scales & Handle Detail:

The elegant handle is crafted from handpicked exotic rosewood, selected for its distinctive natural grain, durability, and timeless appearance. The wood is carefully finished and sealed to help prevent cracking and drying while preserving the handle for years of use.

A Damascus steel guard sits between the blade and handle, adding another handcrafted detail while helping prevent the hand from accidentally slipping toward the blade.
