Soul Sniper Handmade Personalized Damascus Bowie Knife - 12.0" Overall - 7.0" Clip Point Blade, Mother of Pearl & Stacked Leather Handle, Damascus Guard, Fixed Blade, Full Tang Hunting Knife with Hand Stitched Leather Sheath, Pro Knife Sharpening & Personalized
The blade is carefully hand forged using 15N20 & 1095 steel through a process of layering, welding, hammering, and shaping. This traditional forging process creates a distinctive Damascus pattern across every blade, giving each knife its own unique appearance similar to a fingerprint. Each Soul Sniper is individually handcrafted and truly one of a kind.
Damascus steel has outstanding properties of strength and hardness. We enhance these properties through double oil quenching at approximately 2100°F to rapidly cool the steel and develop hardness throughout the blade. The finished blade achieves approximately HRC 62+ on the Rockwell Scale for dependable cutting performance and edge retention.
The contrasting steel layers are finished using ferric chloride, which reacts differently with the metals and reveals the distinctive Damascus pattern across the blade.
The handle combines Mother of Pearl with a carefully constructed stacked leather design for a distinctive blend of natural materials and traditional Bowie knife styling. The stacked leather provides a secure and comfortable grip, while the Mother of Pearl adds a unique decorative appearance. The handle is carefully fitted and finished for durability and dependable handling. Full tang construction extends the blade steel through the handle for added strength, balance, and stability. A Damascus steel guard complements the patterned blade and enhances hand protection.
